Fee per appointment is $220.
Duration per appointment is 50 minutes.
Medicare rebate per appointment is $96.65, up to 10 appointments in a calendar year, with a valid referral from your General Practitioner or Psychiatrist, under a Mental Health Care Plan. Please see link for further information.
Private Health Insurance – Extras Rebates, can be claimed on eligible policies, please discuss directly with your private health provider if the plan you are on covers psychology sessions, the amount paid per appointment, and the annual financial cap. Private health insurance extras rebate and Medicare rebate cannot be claimed on the same appointment.
National Disability Insurance Scheme covers the full cost of appointments up to the limit approved in your NDIS Plan, per 12 months. Please check your approved NDIS Plan under ‘Capacity Building Supports,’ or with your Plan Manager / Local Area Coordinator to confirm if psychology sessions are included in your plan.
Privately self-funded, you do not need a mental health care plan or referral to see a psychologist, and can choose to pay the full out of pocket expense independently without rebate.
